NATURALLY DRAMATIC KITCHEN DESIGN
Crafted as a celebration of luxury and refined materiality, this bespoke kitchen for the Moore residence places opulence at its very core. Every element was chosen to make a bold yet balanced statement, transforming the space into a sensorial experience as much as a functional living area.
A Sculptural Centrepiece:
At the heart of the design is a generously proportioned island which commands attention. Fully wrapped in the dramatic beauty of Blue Roma marble, with its rich blue, brown, and gold veining, the stone introduces both texture and tone, connecting the island visually to the surrounding light-filled interior. Its presence grounds the space, serving as both a work surface and a sculptural anchor.
Natural Warmth & Concealed Functionality:
Offsetting the bold stone is a subtle infusion of warmth through horizontal slatted American black walnut at the island’s end. This detail blends seamlessly with the surrounding natural timber cabinetry, each panel hand-selected for tone and grain. Function meets form here, as this cabinetry cleverly conceals refrigeration, a tall pocket-door larder, and ample storage for this young family. All designed to be accessed with fluid ease while maintaining the kitchen’s clean but homely aesthetic.
Refined Illumination:
Above the island hangs a trio of gold Gubi multi-lite pendants which are positioned in a perfect rhythm, casting a soft, golden glow. These fixtures not only elevate the visual language of the space but also reflect the intentionality behind every material and finish. Their warm tone is echoed in the gold Quooker tap with CUBE and the matching gold sink fittings, tying together the practical elements with a flourish of elegance.
Integrated Performance:
At the functional core of the kitchen are premium Gaggenau appliances, discreetly set within a projecting dark oven cassette. This carefully considered integration creates a striking contrast with the surrounding finishes while maintaining a visual balance with the black ceramic hob. Every detail has been aligned to ensure seamless use without compromising on the overall design language.
