With opulence and sophistication at the heart of this commissioned kitchen design, is the island and the presence of the materials used. The main focal point, being the Blue Roma marble, which encases the island furniture with blue, brown, and gold veining throughout. This kitchen gives an earthy connection to the natural light coming through the space. Horizontal slatted American black walnut lines the end of the island and ties in with the hand-selected natural timber cabinetry. This hides the refrigeration, storage space, tall pocket doors, and larder cabinets. Suspended above the island are three brushed gold pendant light fittings, which match the main sink and Quooker tap with CUBE below, creating a real statement piece. The Gaggenau appliances are the main functioning part of the kitchen and have been set within a dark oven cassette, creating a visual connection to the black ceramic hob area.
