The Frustration That Sparked a Vision

David Conlon, founder of En Masse Bespoke, began his career working with some of the biggest names in the kitchen industry. While the projects looked polished on the surface, behind the scenes it was often a different story. Details were missed. Quality was compromised. And crucially, there was a disconnect between the designer and the maker.

“I grew tired of witnessing substandard work that was handed over to clients,” David says. “For me, a kitchen, or any piece of bespoke furniture, is a significant investment and deserves the utmost care and attention at every stage.”

That frustration became fuel, and so in 2003, En Masse Bespoke was born.

A Workshop of Perfectionists

From the very beginning, En Masse Bespoke was about restoring pride in the process. Every junction is considered. Every material respected. Every design choice made with intention. David brought together a team of like-minded craftspeople who believe in doing things properly.

We don’t offer ready-made ranges or pre-designed collections. Everything we produce is bespoke. Every piece is unique. Every client gets something that is made entirely for them, and them alone.

Inspired by Excellence

Having recently made advancements in our workshop, we are able to offer a limited number of extra commissions for individuals who understand the beauty of detail, and the importance of craft. Each project still receives the same focus, the same intensity, and the same craftsmanship that has always defined our work.

After seeing the outstanding work recognised at the Designerati Awards, we were inspired to extend something rare. So we are now offering these extra commission spaces for those individuals who share our values.
